MorningMom gets up around 7,the kids usually follow sometime between 7:30 and 8. If not I wake Kaleb up around 8 so that he can start on his chore chart and get dressed. I try not to wake Alex up if I don't have to. (She is cranky) We try to be finished with breakfast by 9.School timeEither at 9 or 10am, depending on the amount of school work to be done, we start some school. Kaleb is back to working in the office at his desk. Alex will either watch some cartoons or play with whatever I have pulled out for her. (Playdoh, shape blocks, etc.) This usually lasts until it is done, then the kids go play until lunch, or sometimes it lasts right up until lunch time.AfternoonAfter lunch, which is usually around 12 or 1, the kids go play outside or in their rooms. Mom cleans up and does a few more chores and such until 3pm, which is Alex's nap time. During her naptime, we all have quiet time. Kaleb sometimes plays quietly or looks at books. I cook dinner or clean. Sometimes I even get to sit and read also. An hour or so before we expect DJ home, the kids and I all have a cleanup time to get the house ready.EveningWe eat dinner whenever DJ gets home, sometimes before if the kids are hungry and he isn't coming home until late. After dinner, the kids usually get to watch a movie or two that they pick out and DJ watches some TV or finishes up whatever work he might have. We clean up before bed. Mom sometimes waters the garden before bed. (see, not the most exciting day, but there it is) |
